North Kent Radio Society

Formed over 60 years ago the North Kent Radio Society has members from North West Kent and South East London and Essex.
We are not far from the Dartford river crossing.

We meet on the First and Third Tuesdays of every month.

Where we meet:

The new meeting place for 2024 going forward is :-

North Cray Neighbourhood Centre,
1 Davis Way,
Sidcup
DA14 5JR

Our meeting place is on the first floor and there is a lift available.
The centre is near the roundabout at the junction of North Cray Road, Edgington
Road (A223) and Maidstone Road. If you exit the roundabout from Maidstone
Road and take the first right (Palm Avenue leading to St Georges Road) Davis way
is on your right.
There is plenty of on site parking and it you look at the map later in this newsletter
you will see that the car park entrance can be found by following Davis Road round
the building.

The membership consists of individuals whose common interest is all aspects of electronic communications. Many of us are active Radio Amateurs but our interests extend from operating on the amateur bands to all communication via “electronic means”

We have a club net on the Tuesdays when the club does not meet, which commences at 20.30 on 145.5 and moves to a convenient nearby channel. Non members are always welcome to take part in the net.

We take part in various external events which last year included setting up a riverside station for LOTA (Lighthouses on the air) We are keen to attract new members and visitors are always welcome..
